Who we are
DKGlow (https://dkglow.com) is operated by Penta Technology Services LLC d/b/a DKGlow at 362 Alps Road, Wayne, NJ 07470. We sell Methylene Blue topicals and infrared therapy devices to customers in the United States. Questions about this policy go to contact@dkglow.com.
What we collect, and why
When you place an order
We collect the information you enter into Stripe's hosted checkout: your email address, name, shipping address, and payment method details. We use this to fulfill your order, send you a receipt and shipping updates, handle returns, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
We never see or store your full payment card number. Stripe collects and processes that on our behalf as a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We only store the order summary, shipping address, and Stripe's session and customer identifiers.
When you contact us
If you fill in the form on our contact page, we collect your name, email address, message, and optionally an order reference. We also log the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission to help us identify and block spam. We use this information only to reply to you and to investigate abuse.
When you submit a product review
If you write a review on a product page, we collect your name, your review (rating, optional title, body), and your email address. The name and review are displayed publicly once we approve them. Your email is notdisplayed — we use it only to check whether your address matches a paid order so we can add a “Verified Buyer” badge to your review. We also log the submitter's IP address for up to 30 days to detect and block spam, then delete it. You can ask us to remove your review at any time by emailing support@dkglow.com.
When you browse
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through aggregated heatmaps and session replays. Clarity captures mouse movement, scroll position, and click behavior. All on-page text and form input values are masked by default and appear as scrambled blocks in replays — Microsoft cannot see what you typed or read on the page. Microsoft uses this data to provide us with site-improvement insights; you can read how Microsoft handles it in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Our server also keeps standard web access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for at most 30 days to diagnose problems and detect abuse.
Cookies
We use the minimum cookies needed to make the site work. Your shopping cart is stored entirely in your browser's local storage — it never leaves your device unless you proceed to checkout. When you do, Stripe sets its own cookies on checkout.stripe.com to process the payment securely; those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
Microsoft Clarity sets a small number of cookies (typically _clck and _clsk) used to stitch together page views in the same session. These cookies do not contain personal information.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- Stripe — payment processing (handles your card details and shipping address during checkout). See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Shipping carriers — your name and shipping address are shared with the carrier (USPS / UPS / FedEx) for the specific shipment.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized behavior data (heatmaps, session replays with masked text and form values) used to understand how visitors use the site. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We may disclose information if required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or the safety of our customers.
How long we keep your data
- Order records: retained for at least 7 years to meet U.S. tax record-keeping requirements.
- Contact-form submissions: retained for 2 years after resolution, then deleted.
- Server access logs: retained for up to 30 days, then rotated out.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you
- Send you a copy of that information
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date (e.g. a shipping address)
- Delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements (we cannot delete tax-relevant order records inside the 7-year window)
Email contact@dkglow.com from the address associated with your order or message. We respond within 30 days.
Children
DKGlow products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We serve every page over HTTPS using a publicly-trusted TLS certificate. Payment information goes directly from your browser to Stripe's servers and is never transmitted through ours. Our admin systems require strong authentication and are not publicly accessible.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and update the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be announced via a banner on the site for at least 30 days.
